We are pleased to announce that Root Global has secured an additional €8,000,000 from institutional investors. This funding enables us to significantly accelerate our company's growth.
When Eric and I first set out to understand the challenges faced by procurement and sustainability teams in the food industry, it quickly became clear that food producers were inadequately supported in measuring, reducing, and communicating GHG emissions.
Nearly two years later, we have expanded our team to around 30 talented employees and, with your support, have successfully built the foundations of a platform that can comprehensively address emissions management. For the first time, emissions data can be collected in a scalable manner, verified properly, and shared across the entire value chain.
We would like to take this milestone as an opportunity to express our gratitude:

With this new funding, we will significantly expand our team and be even more equipped to support you in addressing various challenges. Among many other initiatives, we will:
Expand our product to cover more raw material categories, additional GHG calculators, and more geographies.
Further enhance the certification of the scientific accuracy of our calculations as well as that of our data protection and IT security measures.
Strengthen collaboration with various partners along the value chain (including regulatory and scientific partners) to better understand and implement future requirements in our product.
